the two men sitting at the top of the Light Heavyweight division have once again decided to pursue other options. To be fair, we don’t know if it’s the boxers, the managers or the promoters. But talks have fallen through four times now.
most blame Cooper for demanding too much money. Cooper has never avoided anyone in the past and took the hardest possible route to the top. Why would he start ducking now? Is he scared, greedy or not at fault at all?
Ware claims that his rival is demanding too much money and is unreasonable. He claims that Cooper is unwilling to move an inch in order to get the contracts signed.
Cooper said this “Its not a money issue. I want the higher cut obviously. I said a figure and Ware agreed to it. The money is not the issue. Whenever I propose a date they always can’t do that date for whatever reason. It’s not me that should be chasing for contenders. Condensers should be chasing Champions”.
I don’t know who is at fault. They need to get pen to paper and give fans what they want. This has gone on long enough.
