2018 will make 2017 look small time.

The EBU is literally getting bigger by the week. More and more organisations around the world are being bought up and consolidated. It’s fair to say that 2018 will be our biggest year by far.

We have a lot to thank 2017 for. It was that year that we saw proof that fans will turn up to multiple super fights and they are willing to pay a higher price for it. The previous EBU president believed that you shouldn’t spoil fans and if you plan 5 super fight they will pick the top two and watch those alone. So the standard was just 1 super fight a year.

I think there were 6 fights last year that would be classed as super fights and they all sold out at double the usual ticket price.

The EBU also acted on feedback and decided that no main event was good enough to warrant a poor undercard. Every event was stacked with talent

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2018.

The EBU will aim to stage more shows all around Europe and every weekend will see multiple shows in the U.K.

With every organisation that comes under EBU ownership, expect to see dense competition for long time EBU favourites.

Expect some champions  to fall. The EBU have confirmed they they will strip champions that refuse to fight their European equivalent.

Talent shows have been confirmed. A card full of young EBU talent looking to fight regularly. Tickets for these shows will cost just £10.
