Daniel Jones has boxed for team GB and won many national honours. Today he turned 18 years old, and immediately signed with the EBU.
Why the EBU?
I want to test myself early. The EBU puts a lot of importance on 50/50 match ups and I like that. The EBU seem to have the same outlook on boxing as I do.
Main goal?
I want to win all of the titles in order. I at least would like to win the English strap. If I don’t make it that far I will be very disappointed in myself.
Main strengths?
I would say my speed. I do everything well but there is certainly room for improvement in some areas.
Main weakness?
There have been times when I’ve underestimated my opponents. Thankfully I have learned from that.
Debut?
I haven’t been given a date yet but I would like to get one in this year. I always stay fit so will only need a few weeks notice.
