The EBU expansion over the last three years has been nothing short of phenomenal. After the take over, it was made very clear that the EBU wants to form its own world title.
This week the EBU President announced:
“We have been taking over organisations all over Europe. We buy up the company, sign the fighters and then close the company. Right now we are so close to a deal that will see us sign 173 American boxers. Once we have them, more will follow. We will have a world title within 5 years”.
