The English Boxing Union is an independent organisation, formed from a breakaway organisation, then reformed from the merge of numerous bodies. The aim was to pit the best against the best without ‘boxing politics’, give boxers more control over their careers, cooperate with other organisations so that boxers can face each other and give fans 50/50 fights.
